Kaspersky Antivirus integration will end September 17th 2019

Two days ago I received a notice from LogMeIn announcing plans to retire their integration with Kaspersky Antivirus within LogMeIn Central.  As many of you are aware LogMeIn Central is the subscription tool used in most of your support plans. A vital part of your maintenance and security plan.

As a replacement, they will be including their new antivirus offering, LogMeIn Antivirus, which we plan on including on all plans that have a paid subscription with the optional antivirus service included. Other subscribers may be able to purchase LogMeIn Antivirus as an add-on to your current subscription.

The integration with Kaspersky Antivirus will remain active until September 17, 2019. At such time, access to Kaspersky Antivirus will be shut down, and you will no longer be able to use Kaspersky as your antivirus provider through your support subscription with us.

In the upcoming weeks, we encourage you to review the information we post concerning LogMeIn Antivirus and how we will deploy it onto your computers – doing so will allow you to gain additional functionality such as:

• Policy Assignment: Configure settings centrally for groups of computers, including scanning profiles and hiding antivirus from the end-user.
• Scheduled Scans: Set up scheduled full scans using central policies.
• Exclusions: Excludes folders or files from all scanning through central policies.
